FC Libourne-Saint-Seurin are a French football team from the town of Libourne in Aquitaine. They currently play in the Championnat de France amateur Group C.
History
The club was founded in 1998 with the merger of l'AS Libourne and l'AS-Saint-Seurin. The club, nicknamed the penguins, were promoted to Ligue 2 from Championnat National after the 2005-2006 season, but relegation followed after finishing 19th in 2007-2008.
l'AS Libourne was founded in 1935 by Georges Kany with their first match being played on March 5 on the meadow of Taillefer. Their later stadium was shared with the local rugby team (rugby being the most popular sport in the South West of France). AS-Saint-Seurin was founded in 1927.
